It shouldn't be this way.

I find myself saying this alot recently.

The flush nozzle in my toilet is having problems. You press it and the flush does not stop till you lift up the lid of the toilet system. It annoys me and I told dad about it. He told me to lift up the lid to stop the water running and I said "It shouldn't be this way". And he agreed to fix it for me.

At work there are several hiccups due to inefficiencies of systems, procedures and human beings. Things that could be rectified if there are some adjustments, adaptation and sometimes budget. However, it seems that nothing seems to be moving forth though it shouldn't be the way.

At work again, 2 colleagues who never see eye to eye was trying to discuss on some issues today. As the conversation goes, the discussion got heated and ended up with one walking away. I wonder why things turn out this way. It shouldn't have been this way if both are more professional and handed matters like adults.

I was talking to a friend, a really stubborn one. Talking about isolation and desertion of self worth and happiness. And that expressing was no longer in the agenda in the walking path ahead. It came across to me that this friend was not living life. And that the degree of self indulgence in personal perceptions and beliefs has overide the meaning of life. It really shouldn't be this way.

If only things could be better, cos it really shouldn't be this way.
