Giving & Receiving

As it was said, Christmas is a time for giving....
The thought of buying a gift excites me!
Though the process of getting them can be quite tiring,
But getting the right gifts gives me a sense of achievement and pride.
And that includes getting the wrapper, putting everything together and presenting it to the receipient.

On the other hand, receiving gifts may not be that delightful.
How it is wrapped shows how much care and thought has been put.
Though it is the thought that counts, but the gift itself tells you how much "thought" has been put in to buy that.

Today, I received a mug from Ikea.
A blue mug similar to what I use at home.
We have 5 of them.
And guess what? It's 50cents.

So...what does it tell you? Thought that counts? Or no thought at all.
Oh well...Merry Christmas....
