Merry Christmas?

Surrounded by laughters and cheers is a quiet soul this year.
The warmth seems to bring more chill somehow.
I swear I had hope for more to come.
But am burying all this hope inside.
Because I know no matter how hard I try,
Time is all I need and have.
To make my next Christmas a merrier one.
