Any Theory Behind Ironing My Own Clothes?

What does it signify when others are done except yours.

Though it is only right to do your own ironing, I wonder if there is more to it.
A punishment for leaving your job without one on hand?
A role you have to fulfill since you do not provide home allowances?
For you to pass time since you have so much on hand?
Getting back at you for not spending enough time at home?
An excuse to scream or "pick your bones" if it is not done in time.
Too bad for not being the favorite child?
Or for going against what to them was "ideal" and better for me.

Whatever it is, I've dutifully done my own ironing and the above doesn't really matter.
