The break down was unexpected though I would say I could have expected it at the rate things were going this week. After it happened, I realised that at this stage of life, there are certain things I want at work.

I want to be respected and appreciated for my fulfillment in responsibilities. I want to be an equal and treated professionally putting behind ranks. I strive not to mix both work and personal feelings. I want to lead a team and make them my pride, that some day when they become successful, I'll be in their thank you speech.

And because I know what I want, I'm beginning to ask for the respect I deserve. Hopefully, one day I could do the same for my professional growth as well.
